In Genesis 22 verse 14, Abraham speaks of God as, “Jehovah Jireh” which means, “The Lord Provides”. So let us give thanks for all that God has provided for Happy Home and all who are associated with the work there:
Let us begin by giving thanks that the children are presently all enjoying good health and pray for their ongoing well-being. Pray too for the schools they attend that they will continue to give of their best in class and in their studies.
Let us give thanks for the overwhelming generosity of all those who have been moved by God to support the continuing education of those students who have shown that they are able to make the most of a further education course.
Let us also give thanks for the generosity of those who have made it possible for a permanent classroom to be built in time for the start of the new school year in January.
Pray for good relations to be maintained between each child and their Guardian family.
Give thanks for the daily commitment of our 9 Kenyan Trustees and the 10 staff who live and work at Happy Home; for its contribution not only to the children in its care but also to the local community.
Give thanks for those individuals who have successfully Graduated. Pray that they will now be able to find employment.
Pray for the New School that has been set up in the grounds of Happy Home. Pray that funds will be found to provide further new permanent classrooms. Give thanks for the response of the local community to this new school.
Finally, we as trustees here in the UK give thanks to God for every one of you who is able to support and contribute to the work of Happy Home either prayerfully or financially.
