Joseph, who is treasurer of the Happy Home Kenya Trustees, was involved in a serious road accident at the end of January. He was returning from a trip to Nairobi, when the bus he was in was involved in a crash with other vehicles. Joseph suffered serious fractures to both legs, for which he had to receive surgery to pin the breakages. His family was able to be with him in hospital shortly after the accident, while he was receiving treatment. As you can see from the photo, the damage to the vehicle was significant – Joseph was seated on the left of the bus at the front.
The trustees in Kenya have rallied round and been able to spread Joseph’s workload amongst the team for a short period while he recovers. After surgery, he is now receiving physiotherapy and is able to walk a little with the aid of sticks.
For prayer:
Please pray for an ongoing recovery for Joseph and for has family as they support him in that. Give thanks for the recovery that he had made so far.
Please also pray for Joseph’s fellow trustees as they continue the work at Happy Home, while Joseph is somewhat incapacitated.
