We are pleased to announce that we have received a grant from the Souter Charitable Trust ( https://www.soutercharitabletrust.org.uk/ ), to help pay for secondary school fees. Set up by Sir Brian and Lady Elizabeth Souter, the charitable trust assists projects engaged in the relief of human suffering in the UK and overseas – particularly, but not exclusively, those promoting spiritual welfare. This is the third time that the Souter Trust has generously supported us with our projects. We have previously received grants in 2020 and 2023. We currently support thirty-five children in secondary school and their fees consume almost half of the funds which are raised from regular donors. This grant is a tremendous help to pay those fees and we are extremely grateful for the grant awarded. As well as receiving the money, the award of the grant is also encouraging as an external organisation has said that it supports the work we do.
